At the weekend we passed the amazing Rudston Monolith, which is almost 26ft in height and dates back to the late Neolithic period (“possibly circa 2000 B.C.” according to the placque).
Here’s another view next to the church. This is a really beautiful spot at this time of year, with the daffodils in flower.
